Mock OSHA Inspections

CRM Inc. can provide a "mock" OSHA inspection to assist in identifying hazards and conditions which could result in an OSHA citation.  The inspection would result in a formal written report, identifying deficiencies, as well as steps for corrective action.   CRM Inc. can also assist in development of written programs, employee training and documentation procedures for compliance with OSHA Standards and other safety standards.

Training programs are available to assist in OSHA Standard compliance.  In part these include:

Hazard Communication - (Reference 29 CFR 1910.1200)

Lockout/Tagout - Control of Hazardous Energy (Reference 29 CFR 1910.147)

Bloodborne Pathogens - (Reference 29 CFR 1910.130)

IN THE EVENT OF NOTIFICATION OR VISITATION BY OSHA

If you have received a Letter from OSHA:

If you received a letter from OSHA it most likely identifies notification of a complaint regarding a particular condition or situation in the workplace.  The letter will identify means to respond, and date by which the response must be received. allegations.  THESE LETTERS MUST NOT BE IGNORED.  Non-response to a notification of complaint will ensure a site visit by an OSHA Compliance Officer.

Some individuals receiving such correspondence will identify that the conditions) within the letter do not exist, and therefore no formal response is made to OSHA.  This is a critical mistake.  Even if the conditions do not exist, a response must be developed, including supporting documentation.

CRM Inc. can assist in development of a formal response, and in the event that a conditions/deficiency must be addressed, CRM Inc. can be provide the consultation, training and procedures necessary to mitigate the alleged hazards.

Following an Inspection with citations:

CRM Inc. can work with your firm to address issues identified by the OSHA Compliance Officer, and assist with addressing deficiencies.  This can include identification of corrective action, preparation of written programs and policies, conducting employee training programs, and assembling data for submission to the applicable OSHA office.
