Emergency Preparedness

 

Emergency Preparedness Programs, and Disaster Recovery Programs, which have always been important, have taken on new urgency due to recent world events.  The CRM Inc. staff is experienced in Emergency Preparedness, and consists of staff specialists in Incident Command, Security, Hazardous Materials, among other topics.

Emergency Preparedness Procedure programs and training can be expanded to incorporate all staff members of a facility, in all departments.  In part, the Emergency Preparedness Programs include use of the :

  • Incident Command System
  • Written Disaster Program
  • Accountability Systems
  • Assembly point identification following an emergency
  • Emergency Drills, etc.

Although it is impossible to plan for every possible event, a well organized Emergency Preparedness program can allow for orderly egress in the event of an emergency, plan for fire and life safety emergencies, identify emergency notification procedures, and develop a more confident workforce.

Consolidated Risk Management, Inc. can assist your firm in developing an emergency preparedness plan.  Emergency Plans can include procedures to following in the event of the following events:

  • Severe weather
  • bomb threat
  • chemical and biological threats
  • fire
  • violence in the workplace
  • hazardous material spills / releases, etc
  • Power outages or disruption of power services
  • site specific potential emergencies, etc.

The CRM Inc. staff can provide a full Emergency Preparedness program, or only those elements desired by the client (ie: Employee Training, Disaster Drill coordination and critique, etc).
